Providing health and education services to children with disabilities in Central Vietnam

WHAT WE DO

The Kianh Foundation works to improve the health and education of children with disabilities by focussing on 4 key areas:

Special Education

Our programme caters to a range of differently-abled children and aims to push them to their next level, whether that be following the National Curriculum or being able to raise a hand to touch a toy after years of being unable to do anything.

Physiotherapy

The physiotherapy programme was our first project at Hoi An Orphanage and quickly had positive results. Our Vietnamese physiotherapists receive regular training from Western professionals.

Speech Therapy

This is our latest programme, using a combination of Makaton signing, phonation exercises and communication aids to help children with different abilities communicate

Dental Care

All the children in our programmes, as well as our staff and their children, get access to regular excellent dental care from the East Meets West clinic in Da Nang City.
