Sponsoring a child at Kianh Foundation, allows you to support the needs and well-being of a child with disability, and their family, assisting them to become self-sufficient. In some cases, sponsoring a child will help to keep them out of institutionalised care.

It is the most effective way of ensuring the future sustainability of our vital, life-changing services.

Your monthly contribution supports the education and therapy needs for your sponsored child. It supports the cost of textbooks, learning resources and stationery, nutritious food and drink and parental education. It also contributes to an annual dental check-up, medical advice and referral where necessary and social trips.

Sponsorship supports the education and therapy needs for a child with special needs attending our full-time programmes. It supports the cost of textbooks, learning resources and stationery, nutritious food and drink. It also contributes to an annual dental check-up, basic healthcare, medical advice (with referral where necessary) and social trips.

Monthly sponsorship contributions enable Kianh Foundation to bring about long-term, sustainable change and tangible benefits to the lives of the children we work with.

Early Intervention

Equips our children with important physical, cognitive and behavioural foundation skills during their important early years, giving them the grounding they need to acquire more functional skills as they grow and develop.

Basic Education

All children have a right to education. Our programme works to create successful learning experiences for all of our children.

School Health and Nutrition

The most essential basis for development is good health. We provide our children with a large, nutritious meal and healthy snacks every day, whilst also paying attention to their basic healthcare and medical needs. We aim for all of our children to be vital, healthy and strong.

Your sponsorship helps provide a child, living with disability, the opportunity to access the services and support network that we tend to take for granted in the Developed world. Amongst other things, it provides early childhood development, education and health support.

Will I sponsor an actual child?

Yes, you will sponsor an actual child if you are able to commit to the full monthly cost of sponsoring a child to attend our programmes, currently $180 per month. Partial sponsorship donations will be pooled together and used to jointly support a child attending our programmes.

Can I select the child I would like to sponsor?

No. We do not publish photos of the children requiring sponsorship, as we do not encourage people to sponsor a child on the basis of their physical appearance. We take child protection very seriously and this includes the sharing of children’s images. It is of the utmost importance that the safety, privacy and dignity of sponsored children are protected at all times. If you are able to commit to sponsoring a child to attend our programmes, you will be sent a photo and a short biography of the child you sponsor or jointly sponsor.
