Our centre is the first of its kind in the region and will address a critical gap by providing much-needed special education and therapies such as physiotherapy and speech to children with disability and special needs.
We currently have 27 children attending the centre, most of whom were previously attending our pilot project. Throughout the coming year, we will be bedding-in the new project (including a new, whole-school curriculum) stabilising new classrooms, therapy rooms and staff (both old and new), before carrying out more assessments and increasing the number of children we can help.
At full capacity, we are aiming to assist at least 100 children with disability every year, and 600 parents and family members of these children.[/su_column][/su_row]
