Child Protection Policy
The Kianh Foundation adheres to a rigorous, documented, international standard Child Protection Policy (CPP). If you're browsing on behalf of an institutional donor please don't hesitate to contact us regarding official documents, policies and SOPs.
Children have a right to be loved, well-cared for, respected, safeguarded and cherished. All children, whatever their age, culture, ability, disability, gender, language, social background, caste, political persuasion, racial origin, religious beliefs and/or sexual identity have the right to protection from all forms of physical or mental violence, injury or abuse, neglect or negligent treatment, maltreatment or exploitation, including sexual abuse. All forms of abuse and exploitation suffered by children are unacceptable and the children and young people in our care must be safeguarded from anyone who might seek to gain access to them through our work. We are committed to preventing intentional or unintentional abuse or harm to children who are looked after by us or come into contact with us through all our services. In all the work we do with the children and all our partners we will put the welfare and well-being of children and young people first. This policy means that our centre is not open for visits by tourists and tour groups.
